About the JEE Rank Estimator
What is the JEE Rank Estimator?
NTA declares JEE Main results as percentiles, and ranks follow later. This JEE Main rank estimator converts your percentile into an approximate common rank list rank.
Around 14 lakh unique candidates appear each year; enter the latest figure for a better estimate.
How to use the JEE Rank Estimator
- NTA Percentile (total) (sample: 98.5)
- Candidates Appeared (unique) (sample: 14,00,000)
- Press Estimate JEE Main Rank (results also refresh as you type). The result card shows the Estimated JEE Main Rank (CRL), along with Candidates ahead of you, Likely range (±10%), JEE Advanced eligibility and Formula.
Formula used
CRL rank ≈ (100 − Percentile) × Candidates ÷ 100
Category ranks are much lower (better) than CRL for reserved categories.
