About the Grade Calculator
What is the Grade Calculator?
Different systems turn the same marks into different grades. This grade calculator converts a percentage under CBSE school grading, the UGC-style university 10-point scale or US letter grades.
It also shows the grade point and whether the score passes.
How to use the Grade Calculator
- Percentage (%) (sample: 78)
- Grading System (sample: University 10-point (O, A+, A … F))
- Press Find My Grade (results also refresh as you type). The result card shows the Grade, along with Grade point, Result and Note.
Formula used
Grade = band containing your percentage
- University (UGC) = O ≥ 90, A+ ≥ 80, A ≥ 70, B+ ≥ 60, B ≥ 55, C ≥ 50, P ≥ 40
- US = A ≥ 93, A- ≥ 90, B+ ≥ 87 … F below 60
Pass marks: 33% for CBSE, commonly 40% for universities and 60% in US schools.
