Frequently Asked Questions About Contacting Gizcalc

How quickly will you respond to my message?

We aim to respond to all messages within 2 to 3 business days. During busy periods — such as tax season or major product launches — response times may be slightly longer. Partnership and advertising inquiries that require more detailed evaluation may take up to 5 business days. We prioritise bug reports and data accuracy issues for faster resolution.

I found a calculation error. How should I report it?

We take calculation accuracy seriously. If you believe a calculator is producing an incorrect result, please send us a detailed bug report including: the name of the calculator, the exact values you entered into each field, the result the calculator showed, and what result you expected based on your own calculation or a verified reference. The more detail you provide, the faster we can reproduce, investigate, and fix the issue. You can also include a screenshot if helpful. We review all accuracy reports and update calculators whenever errors are confirmed.

Can I request a new calculator?

Absolutely. Gizcalc's calculator roadmap is largely driven by user feedback and real-world demand. If there is a specific financial, health, tax, engineering, education, or conversion tool that you cannot find on the Platform, we would love to hear about it. Please describe the calculation you need, the inputs it would require, and the output you would expect. If multiple users request the same tool, it moves up our priority list. Many of the 750+ calculators currently on Gizcalc were built in response to user requests.

I am a journalist or researcher. Can I use Gizcalc data?

Yes. Journalists, researchers, students, and content creators are welcome to use Gizcalc calculators and reference the results in their work. When citing Gizcalc, please attribute the result as an estimate produced by Gizcalc (gizcalc.in) and note that results are based on the inputs provided and standard formulas. For interviews, product reviews, or deeper collaboration, please reach out via email with details about your publication or research project.

I am interested in advertising on Gizcalc. How does it work?

Gizcalc attracts a highly targeted audience of Indian users who are actively making financial decisions — evaluating loans, planning investments, calculating taxes, comparing salary offers, and managing health goals. This makes the Platform an effective context for financial services advertising. We work with banks, NBFCs, mutual fund companies, insurance providers, fintech platforms, and adjacent categories such as accounting software, investment apps, and health products. Display advertising is managed through Google AdSense, while direct partnerships and sponsored content can be arranged independently. Contact us with "Advertising" or "Partnership" in the subject line to discuss options.

Can I embed Gizcalc calculators on my website?

Direct embedding of Gizcalc calculators on third-party websites requires a written licensing agreement. Unauthorised embedding, scraping, or white-labelling of our tools is prohibited under our Terms and Conditions. However, we are open to partnership arrangements for legitimate use cases such as financial education platforms, employer benefits portals, media websites, and similar applications. Please contact us to discuss your specific use case and we will evaluate it on a case-by-case basis.

How do I delete my Gizcalc account?

To request account deletion, please email us at gizcalc@gmail.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request" and the email address associated with your account. We will process the request within 30 days and confirm deletion. All personal data and calculation history associated with your account will be permanently deleted, subject to any legal retention obligations described in our Privacy Policy. Note that locally stored data in your browser (such as calculator history in localStorage) must be cleared separately through your browser settings.

I have a complaint about an advertisement I saw on Gizcalc.

Advertisements on Gizcalc are primarily served through Google AdSense and are selected automatically based on page context and audience relevance. While we do not directly control individual ad creatives, we take advertising quality seriously. If you encountered an advertisement that was misleading, offensive, inappropriate, or fraudulent, please use the contact form to describe the ad (including what it was advertising and approximately when and where you saw it). We will report the issue to the relevant ad network for review and action.

Is Gizcalc available in regional Indian languages?

Currently, Gizcalc is available in English. We recognise that India is an enormously diverse country with hundreds of millions of users who prefer regional languages for their digital experiences. Adding support for Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Bengali, Marathi, and other regional languages is on our product roadmap. We are evaluating the technical and content investment required to do this correctly and comprehensively, rather than offering a superficial translation that misses financial and technical nuance. If regional language support is important to you, please let us know through the contact form — user demand helps us prioritise our development roadmap.

Where is Gizcalc based?

Gizcalc is an India-based digital product. We are built specifically for the Indian user context — our calculators use Indian tax rules, rupee formatting, Indian benchmark rates, India-specific financial products, and India-centric investment assumptions. We are not a global calculator platform that has been adapted for India; we were built from the ground up for Indian financial reality. If you have questions about our organisation, team, or business model, please feel free to reach out through the contact form.
