About the Attendance Calculator
What is the Attendance Calculator?
Most colleges and universities require 75% attendance to sit exams. This attendance calculator shows where you stand and what to do next.
If you are short, it tells you how many consecutive classes you must attend; if you are above, how many you can miss.
How to use the Attendance Calculator
- Classes Attended (sample: 62)
- Total Classes Held (sample: 75)
- Required Attendance (%) (sample: 75)
- Press Check Attendance (results also refresh as you type). The result card shows the Attendance, along with Status, Classes to attend in a row to reach 75% and Classes you can miss and stay at 75%.
Formula used
Classes needed = ⌈(Required % × Held − 100 × Attended) ÷ (100 − Required %)⌉
- Classes you can miss = ⌊(100 × Attended − Required % × Held) ÷ Required %⌋
Some institutions allow condonation for medical reasons – check the rules.

Tips for using the Attendance Calculator
- Track attendance per subject if your college applies the rule subject-wise.
- Do not use up your allowable absences early in the semester.
