About the Stop Loss Take Profit Calculator
What is the Stop Loss Take Profit Calculator?
This calculator places a stop-loss either a fixed percentage from your entry or at a multiple of the average true range (ATR), which adapts to volatility. It then sets the target at your chosen reward-to-risk multiple.
It also shows the win rate you need to break even with that ratio.
How to use the Stop Loss Take Profit Calculator
- Entry Price (₹) (sample: 1,000)
- Position (sample: Long)
- Stop Method (sample: Percentage below / above entry)
- Stop Distance (%) (sample: 3)
- Average True Range (₹) (sample: 25)
- ATR Multiple (sample: 2)
- Reward-to-Risk Target (R) (sample: 2)
- Press Set Stop-Loss & Target (results also refresh as you type). The result card shows the Stop-Loss Price, along with Target price, Risk per unit, Reward per unit and Win rate needed to break even.
Formula used
Stop = Entry ∓ Risk; Target = Entry ± Risk × R
- Risk = entry × stop % or ATR × multiple
- Break-even win rate = 1 ÷ (1 + R)
Signs flip for short trades.

Tips for using the Stop Loss Take Profit Calculator
- ATR-based stops (1.5–3× ATR) avoid being stopped out by normal noise.
- Place stops beyond obvious support or resistance levels.
