About the Portfolio Tracker
What is the Portfolio Tracker?
This portfolio tracker gives a quick snapshot of your investments. List each holding with its quantity, average buy price and current price.
You get each holding's value, profit or loss, return and share of the portfolio, plus totals and an allocation chart.
How to use the Portfolio Tracker
- Holdings (one per line: name, quantity, average buy price, current price) — one holding per line: name, quantity, average buy price, current price. (sample: Reliance, 20, 2450, 2900 TCS, 10, 3600, 3450 Nifty ETF, 150, 210, 265 Bitcoin, 0.02, 4500000, 5800000)
- Press Track My Portfolio (results also refresh as you type). The result card shows the Portfolio Value, along with Amount invested, Unrealised profit / loss, Overall return and Holdings.
Formula used
Return = (Current value ÷ Amount invested − 1) × 100
- Allocation = holding value ÷ portfolio value
Unrealised gains are not taxed until you sell.
