About the Crypto Tax TDS Split Calculator
What is the Crypto Tax TDS Split Calculator?
At year end you need to square up crypto tax and TDS. This calculator lists each trade's gain or loss, taxes only the gains, totals the 1% TDS deducted on your sales and shows whether you owe more or get a refund.
Enter each coin with its cost and sale value.
How to use the Crypto Tax TDS Split Calculator
- Trades This Year (one per line: coin, cost, sale value in ₹) — one trade per line: coin, cost in ₹, sale value in ₹. For example: BTC, 100000, 150000. (sample: BTC, 100000, 150000 ETH, 80000, 60000 SOL, 50000, 70000)
- Press Reconcile Tax and TDS (results also refresh as you type). The result card shows the Balance Tax Payable, along with Tax on gains (30% + cess), TDS already deducted (1% of sales), Taxable gains and Losses you cannot use.
Formula used
Balance = 31.2% × Σ positive gains − 1% × Σ sale values
- Losses = shown separately – they cannot reduce tax
Assumes TDS was deducted on all sales; check your Form 26AS and AIS.
