About the Pay Revision Calculator
What is the Pay Revision Calculator?
Regular pay revision compounds over the years. This calculator projects your salary after each annual revision and adds up your total earnings.
It also discounts each year's salary for inflation, so you can see whether your pay is really growing.
How to use the Pay Revision Calculator
- Current Annual Salary (₹) (sample: 9,00,000)
- Average Revision per Year (%) (sample: 8)
- Years (sample: 5)
- Inflation (%) (sample: 6)
- Press Project Pay Revisions (results also refresh as you type). The result card shows the Salary after the Last Revision, along with Total earnings over the period, Growth multiple and Final salary in today's money.
Formula used
Salary after n years = Current × (1 + Revision %)ⁿ
- In today's money = salary ÷ (1 + inflation)ⁿ
Promotions usually add a one-time jump on top of regular revisions.
