Please verify current values before making financial, tax, legal, medical, or business decisions.

Formula used

In-hand = Gross − Employee PF − Professional tax − Tax (lower of the two regimes)

  • HRA exemption = least of HRA received, rent − 10% of basic, 50% (metro) or 40% of basic
  • 80C = employee PF + your investments, up to ₹1.5 lakh

About the In-Hand Salary Calculator

What is the In-Hand Salary Calculator?

Your in-hand salary depends on which tax regime you choose. This calculator works out take-home pay both ways: the new regime with lower rates and a ₹75,000 standard deduction, and the old regime with HRA exemption, 80C and other deductions.

Enter your rent and investments to see which regime leaves more money in your account each month.
