About the Increment CTC Calculator
What is the Increment CTC Calculator?
A 12% increment on CTC does not always mean 12% more in your account. PF rises with basic, and crossing a tax slab can take a bite. This calculator shows your in-hand salary before and after.
It uses the same CTC breakup and FY 2025-26 tax rules as the salary calculator.
How to use the Increment CTC Calculator
- Annual CTC (₹) (sample: 12,00,000)
- Increment (%) (sample: 12)
- Basic Pay (% of fixed CTC) (sample: 40)
- Provident Fund (sample: 12% of full basic)
- Tax Regime (sample: New regime (default))
- Professional Tax (₹ per year) (sample: 2,500)
- Press Calculate New CTC & In-Hand (results also refresh as you type). The result card shows the Increase in Monthly In-Hand, along with New CTC, Monthly in-hand before, Monthly in-hand after and In-hand increase %.
Formula used
In-hand increase = In-hand(CTC × (1 + Increment)) − In-hand(CTC)
Tax follows FY 2025-26 rules: under the new regime, taxable income up to ₹12 lakh (₹12.75 lakh of salary) pays no tax.
