About the Two-Wheeler Loan Calculator
What is the Two-Wheeler Loan Calculator?
Two-wheeler loans finance motorcycles and scooters for 6 months to 5 years, usually at higher rates than car loans. Because amounts are small, processing fees and add-on charges can make a big difference to the real cost.
Enter the on-road price, down payment, rate and tenure in months. This two wheeler loan calculator shows the EMI, total interest and the total amount you pay for the vehicle.
How to use the Two-Wheeler Loan Calculator
- On-Road Price of the Two-Wheeler (₹) (sample: 1,20,000)
- Down Payment (₹) (sample: 20,000)
- Interest Rate (% per year) (sample: 11)
- Tenure (months) (sample: 36)
- Press Calculate Bike Loan EMI (results also refresh as you type). The result card shows the Monthly EMI, along with Loan amount, Total cost (down payment + EMIs), Total interest and Total amount payable.
Formula used
EMI = P × r × (1 + r)ⁿ ÷ ((1 + r)ⁿ − 1)
- P = the loan amount
- r = the monthly interest rate = annual rate ÷ 12 ÷ 100
- n = the number of monthly instalments
Each month, interest = outstanding balance × r and the rest of the EMI repays principal, so interest falls and principal repayment rises over time.

- A shorter tenure of 12–24 months keeps interest low on small loans.
