About the SIP Bull Base Bear Scenario Calculator
What is the SIP Bull Base Bear Scenario Calculator?
No one knows future returns, so a single projection gives false precision. This SIP scenario calculator runs your SIP through three return assumptions — a cautious bear case, a realistic base case and an optimistic bull case — so you can see the range of outcomes.
Enter your monthly SIP, period, three return scenarios and an optional yearly step-up. The results show each corpus, the total invested and the gap between the best and worst case.
How to use the SIP Bull Base Bear Scenario Calculator
- Monthly SIP (₹) (sample: 10,000)
- Investment Period (years) (sample: 15)
- Bear-Case Return (% per year) (sample: 7)
- Base-Case Return (% per year) (sample: 12)
- Bull-Case Return (% per year) (sample: 15)
- Annual Step-Up (%) (sample: 0)
- Press Run Scenarios (results also refresh as you type). The result card shows the Base-Case Corpus, along with Bear-case corpus, Bull-case corpus, Total invested and Range between bear and bull.
Formula used
Corpus = SIP × ((1 + i)ⁿ − 1) ÷ i × (1 + i) for each scenario
- i = the scenario's annual return ÷ 12
- n = the number of months
With a step-up, the SIP rises every 12 months in all three scenarios.
