What is the Section 80D Calculator?

Section 80D gives a deduction for health insurance premiums — up to ₹25,000 for yourself, your spouse and children (₹50,000 if either of you is 60 or older) and another ₹25,000 for parents (₹50,000 if a parent is a senior citizen).

Enter the premiums, age details, preventive check-up costs and any medical bills for uninsured senior parents. The calculator applies each limit and shows the total deduction and the tax you save in the old regime.
