About the Multi-Item GST Bill Builder

What is the Multi-Item GST Bill Builder?

Real invoices often mix items taxed at different GST rates. This GST invoice calculator lets you list every item with its quantity, unit price and rate, and totals the bill the way a GST invoice must show it.

Enter one item per line and choose intra-state or inter-state supply. The result shows the taxable value, total GST, the CGST/SGST or IGST split, GST grouped by rate, and an itemised table.

How to use the Multi-Item GST Bill Builder

  1. Items (one per line: name, quantity, unit price, GST %) — one item per line: name, quantity, unit price, GST %. (sample: Consulting hours, 10, 2000, 18 Printed brochures, 500, 12, 18 Rice (branded), 20, 60, 5)
  2. Type of Supply (sample: Within the state (CGST + SGST))
  3. Press Build GST Bill (results also refresh as you type). The result card shows the Invoice Total, along with Taxable value, Total GST, Tax split and GST by rate.

Formula used

Invoice total = Σ (Quantity × Unit price) × (1 + Rate ÷ 100)

  • Taxable value = Σ quantity × unit price
